The foundation of this great institution is laid by a few like minded parents of Rajajinagar locality with the main objective of preventing exploitation in the field of education and also to provide access to the cost effective and quality education, to suit all sections of the society. The Rajajingar parents' Association is registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960 on 3rd October 1969. The managing committee represents 15 members, elected democratically once in 3 years from among the 206 life members.

Currently Dr. D.S.Shivananda is the president and Sri. G.B. Paramashivaiah is the secretary. The institution imparts education from nursery to degree.

The association not only aims at achieving academic excellence but also at the inculcation of moral and spiritual values, through dedicated service, based on the principle of "No profit No Loss".

The institution is currently renamed as Rajajinagar Parents Education Society (R.P.E.S).
